After the first War of the Worlds (WotW1), the British Government allowed the remains of the MArtian invader's technology to be 'back engineered', allowing the construction of war machines of our own, the most successful of which was the GLADSTONE Main Battle Tank, shown here on Mars, as it's gallant crew attempt to hunt down a rascally Martian creature.
